Why we exist

Because guessing is expensive.

Every day, in companies just like yours, good people make their best guess about what their leaders meant. Some guess right. Most don't. Deadlines slip, priorities drift, and the best people quietly decide it's easier to work somewhere else. It doesn't have to work that way.

Our values come from our faith. We believe Scripture has a lot to say about how to lead people well, so these are the principles we hold ourselves, and our work, to.

Clarity is a kindness.

We tell leaders what they need to hear, not what's comfortable, and we help them do the same for their teams. Honest doesn't have to mean harsh.

Meet our founder

Julie Wagner has sat in every seat at your table.

She's been the employee waiting for leaders to be clear. The director translating strategy nobody explained, at a major telecommunications company. The owner everyone waited on, for 18 years of building and running her own businesses. And the sales leader in cloud technology whose numbers showed, every month, whether the message landed.

Every seat taught her the same truth: when leaders aren't clear, people fill the silence with guesses. She built Leadership Clearly to end the guessing.

Julie holds a bachelor's degree in business and an MBA from the University of Maryland, completed executive education at Yale and Columbia focused on women in leadership, and is a certified executive and leadership coach. She hosts the Leadership Clearly Podcast and is based in the Pacific Northwest.

Her faith is the foundation of how she leads and why she built this company. Outside client work, she serves as a worship pastor at her local church.
